National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG) is a database of orders, judgments and case details of 18,735 District & Subordinate Courts and High Courts created as an online platform under the eCourts Project. Since its launch under the e-Courts project, National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG) has served as a one-stop repository of all case related information pertaining to High Courts as well as District and Taluka Courts.
National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG) for High Courts was launched by Shri. K.K. Venugopal, Attorney General of India on 3 July 2020 in the presence of Hon'ble Dr Justice D Y Chandrachud, Chairperson, e-Committee, Shri. Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General of India, Shri.
Taluka courts are subsidiaries to district courts. District – these are the local courts of the state government for every district (or for one or more districts).
The NJDG portal is a national repository of data relating to cases instituted, pending, and disposed of by the courts across the country. It is a database of orders, judgments and case details of 18,735 District and subordinate Courts and High Courts created as an online platform under the e-Courts Project.
